I was wondering what my first post should be, some articles state that your first blog post should be an introduction of who you are and what your purpose is, others explain that it should be a captivating post that is on topic to reel readers in and get them eager to read more and later be interested in finding out who exactly it is writing the blog. Sifting through these articles made me realize one thing quite quickly; there is no "right" first post. So, introduction it is! I'll start with a quick and painless intro telling you a bit about my career and what you can expect from future blog posts...
Hi, I'm Andrea, a licensed hairstylist and Hair Extension specialist. I have been a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Florida (the Tampa Bay area to be more specific) for over 11 years, after graduating Cosmetology school, I discovered that I have a strong passion for hair extensions and expanded my knowledge on those services immediately.
I started installing k-tip extensions, braided sew-ins shortly after that, i-tips, tape-ins and now multiple methods of braidless sew in extensions. I have certifications from some of the largest extension methods and hair brands and find that continuing to expand your education is imperative in this industry to offer the most customized service possible when you're behind the chair.
I truly enjoy helping fellow stylists out with tips and techniques when I discover something new or helpful, and when I'm behind the chair, I always add some educational value to my clients services and realized I am almost always sharing information that hasn't been heard before.
I thought that now is as good a time as ever to take my knowledge to the internet to share some helpful information to fellow salon professionals as well as salon guests both near & far!
I really hope you'll join me in this new journey of blogging and sharing hair related education, and I truly hope you'll take something new away from every post!
